10 Books....
Today is the first day that I'm feeling 100% better after the freak illness. As a result I've got a lot of catching up to do, so bear with me whilst I fob you off with another meme.
Purple Pen and Billy actually did this a week and a half ago and yes I have been thinking about it all this time. It’s a difficult one…
‘Which authors have you read more than ten books by?’
1. Shakespeare (Yes it does count, they are books are they not?)
2. Enid Blyton (Lashings of ginger Beer anyone?)
3. Beatrix Potter (Scraaape that barrel)
4. Roald Dahl (Of course)
and finally one of which I’m actually proud…
5. Virginia Woolf
I cannot actually think of any more. Pathetic isn’t it?
Can you do any better?

I bet you've read more. It took me ages and much rooting on other blogs for reminders to find the ones I've read and I'm sure there must be a few more
In my defense, a lot of authors I like haven't written 10 books. Here's a list, probably incomplete, for me:
1. Louise Erdrich
2. Carol Shields
3. Anne Tyler
4. Stephen King (kind of embarrassed to include him---I haven't read anything by him in about 15 years, but in the interest of full disclosure, there you go)
5. Agatha Christie (see note for preceding entry; was big fan in grade school. Stop laughing!)
6. Better quit now before I really embarrass myself...
The only two that I can think of are Robert Ludlum and Stephen King. I'm sure that there are others out there who have close to 10 books I've read though.

By "better," should I assume you mean "more numerous" and not "more erudite"? Will think on this and post to my blog, barring another crisis.
