My favourite coffee cup

Do you have a favourite coffee cup? You know one that makes coffee taste even nicer than it really is? I have a mug that I got given for my 18th birthday nearly 11 years ago. It has got a picture of a sun on the side along with the words ‘Here comes the sun doodle doodle’ (a Beatles reference. Geddit?)
Don’t get me wrong, I have other mugs which do other jobs, my Pooh Bear one makes hot chocolate taste nicer and my Teddy one greatly improves a cup of herbal tea.
There I was this morning washing up my ‘doodle doodle’ mug for my morning coffee, when the handle just came off in my hand. Great, brilliant at the beginning of the month when I am going to need as much caffeine as is humanely possible. Just had coffee in the teddy mug and it didn’t really work.
Doodle doodle is going to go to mug heaven now. Please don’t tell me that we are the only family who has a mug heaven in their house? Mug heaven is the top shelf on the book case, where all our broken mugs are glued back together and are put on display, when there is no hope of them holding a beverage anymore.
Did someone use the word ‘hoarders’?
